The CHIST-ERA 2025 Project Seminar, organized under the framework of the CHIST-ERA initiative which supports long-term and high-impact research in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) across Europe, was successfully held on 8–9 April 2025 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The seminar brought together nearly 100 international participants, including researchers involved in CHIST-ERA-funded projects as well as representatives from various European research funding organizations.
Throughout the two-day event, participants engaged in project presentations, panel discussions with leading experts, poster sessions, and networking activities designed to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas. The seminar provided a valuable platform not only for sharing scientific results and best practices but also for exploring opportunities for future cooperation.
CHIST-ERA (European Coordinated Research on Long-term ICT and ICT-based Scientific Challenges) is a European initiative that supports forward-looking, interdisciplinary research by launching annual transnational calls in selected thematic areas.
The CHIST-ERA 2025 Project Seminar served as a significant forum for enhancing interaction within the research community, promoting scientific excellence, and strengthening the European Research Area through collaboration.
